About Lake Charles Education Collaboration
Lake Charles Education Collaboration is a 501c3 non-profit with a focus on educational success at Elementary, Middle School and High School levels in Lake Charles, LA. Our board consist of community leaders that have a passion for seeing our children succeed. We are committed to partnering with Calcasieu Parish School Board and local school administrators to improve academic outcomes. In addition, we look to partner with local business leaders, politicians and community members to help in this endeavor.
TEAM MISSION
Education is the center of our mission. We aim to Advance/Enhance the educational process for all students while improving both academic and statistical outcomes.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE:
1. Elementary, Middle School and High Schools achieve at least B rating.
2. Scholars reading and math skill are "on level".
3. A winning mindset is the norm for teachers, scholars and parents.
WHY
We exist to add value to students and create a "winning" mindset as it pertains to academic excellence. Education is the center of our mission, where we help to advance/enhance the educational process for all students while improving statistical outcomes.
HOW
By building successful mentorship and leadership development programs at the elementary, middle school and high school levels. By providing financial literacy training. And by intentionally adding value to every student, teacher and parent.
WHAT
We help people discover their WHY. We know when you help someone find their WHY, you help them find their way.
